A Truly Special Taxidermy Experience in the USA

20 Dec 2017

Making your taxidermy experience flawless, seamless and easy

We're really looking forward to catching up with old friends, new clients and discussing how we can assist you in making your next taxidermy experience flawless, seamless and easy.

We have the first-hand experience with the subjects we work with. Our team of respective artists have studied the wildlife in their natural environments in Africa, Europe, North America, and New Zealand and have created taxonomical notes on all animals in order to produce taxidermy that you will be proud of.

In an effort to simplify the hunter's taxidermy experience, no matter where you hunt in the world, Splitting Image Taxidermy logistical team will manage every step of your trophy’s raw preparation, export, import, clearance and delivery to your chosen taxidermy studio. With one point of contact, your entire trophy management and taxidermy experience is managed on your behalf and ensure that you are communicated with throughout the process.

By following our simple 5 step program, you are ensured that we will manage your Taxidermy process from the very beginning. Utilising the tags supplied in the Splitting Image Taxidermy "Taxidermy Information Pack", as well as the "Taxidermy and shipping instruction sheet" provided, you are assured that your trophies will be well marked and that clear instruction is given to your outfitter.

Taxidermy shipments to North America take between 6 and 8 months from the date that tanning is completed to dispatch to the hunter. Custom projects that include dioramas, scenic designs and murals may take longer.

Please take the time to visit our website. There’s a lot of great information on the site, and I’m sure once you’ve gone through it, it will highlight all the good that we can do for you, for your next taxidermy experience.

We look forward to you visiting our Youtube channel, Facebook page and Instagram page, and opening up your world of adventures with Splitting Image Taxidermy.

"To Potential Clients of Splitting Image Taxidermy. Please allow this letter to serve as a recommendation of Splitting Image Taxidermy, which mounted the trophies from my three safaris. In each case, I was very pleased with the quality of the taxidermy work, the timelines in which the trophies were completed, and the reasonableness of the charges. I have found Douglas Cockcroft, Warrick and all of those associated with Splitting Image Taxidermy to be very responsive, honest, straightforward and a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the taxidermy performed by Splitting Image Taxidermy is superb, very detailed and very lifelike. Splitting Image Taxidermy is very familiar with the necessary permitting and shipping requirements involved in exporting trophies from South Africa to the United States, including exporting animals requiring CITIES permits. Please accept this as my absolute and unqualified recommendation of Splitting Image Taxidermy. Sincerely yours,"
