SIT Stories - Episode 11 : EXPORTS

5 Oct 2023

The last step in the SIT journey is the export of your trophies.

Douglas, managing director of Splitting Image Taxidermy, discusses some important information regarding the export of your beautiful trophies.

Our shipping department, compliance officer and administration team make sure that the relevant permits are applied correctly to ensure your shipping process is as seamless and stress free as possible.

The documents you filled out on your hunt are used to apply for your export permits for your taxidermy order. We ensure that the packing list and application documents all match up so that the exact permit for the exact product are secured from the government departments. This is something we take a lot of care to ensure is 100% correct.

Your trophies are cleanly packed, presented and stored in their crates for export. Once your trophies are dispatched from our premises, they are handed over to the shipping agents, who will take you through the final stages of the process. They will be in contact with you as soon as your consignment arrives at their facility.

Thank you for joining us for the journey of SIT Stories, we hope you have enjoyed following the process and getting to know some of our extraordinary team.

Because of your adventures we have the privilege of creating an experience Worth Remembering.

"To Potential Clients of Splitting Image Taxidermy. Please allow this letter to serve as a recommendation of Splitting Image Taxidermy, which mounted the trophies from my three safaris. In each case, I was very pleased with the quality of the taxidermy work, the timelines in which the trophies were completed, and the reasonableness of the charges. I have found Douglas Cockcroft, Warrick and all of those associated with Splitting Image Taxidermy to be very responsive, honest, straightforward and a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the taxidermy performed by Splitting Image Taxidermy is superb, very detailed and very lifelike. Splitting Image Taxidermy is very familiar with the necessary permitting and shipping requirements involved in exporting trophies from South Africa to the United States, including exporting animals requiring CITIES permits. Please accept this as my absolute and unqualified recommendation of Splitting Image Taxidermy. Sincerely yours,"
