Splitting Image Taxidermy on Utilizing Your Hunting Trophies Cape

24 Apr 2018

The Splitting Image Taxidermy experience on how to fully utilize your trophies cape

Once we have mounted your shoulder mount or mounted your pedestal mount, there’s often a large piece of back skin or offcut skin available that we can then use to make one or two classic and classy products. The products can be positioned in your homes, trophy rooms and offices as reminders of your incredible experiences in South Africa, or Africa for that matter.

Splitting Image Taxidermy has a furniture and décor catalogue, it’s available in print as well as online. Please go to our social media, go to our website and request our brochures, request a catalogue to give you some basic ideas. If you want something more creative, drop us a mail. We’ve got some incredibly talented people working in the organisation and we would love to design something that specifically meets your needs.

At Splitting Image Taxidermy, we’ve got a couple of great products that we use your back skins and your offcuts from your hunt to create small items that will remind you of your experiences. People who have never been to Africa, never been on a safari would be sitting at a dinner table, and you could pick up a product and say, “this was a photo album that I made from the back skin of my buffalo when I went on that epic buffalo hunt.”

Cushions, throw cushions that can be strewn on a couch, put on a chair, put on the edge of a bed. These are great products and once again, the purpose is to remind you of the experiences that you’ve had and shared on your great adventures.

Whether it’s a cushion, a back skin, photo album, a set of serviet rings made from cut out horn of a Kudu, there’s an immense amount of products that we can come up with that will enable you to share your experiences more effectively. Relive your experiences in your homes, in your trophy rooms, or with friends around you.

Please visit the Splitting Image Taxidermy website, have a look at our Facebook page and go on our YouTube channel and please comment. We would love to hear from you, we enjoy the interaction. The more questions we get, the more we’re able to share the ideas that we have and that we’re passionate about.

"Hello Rene Just a note to let you know that the mounts arrived today in great condition. "
