The Nyala has striking spiral horns, with a distinctive striped coat and is one of Africa’s most beautiful and graceful antelopes. It is known for its elusive nature and unique markings. This beautiful animal has thrived in numbers over South-east Africa.

While Nyala and Kudu are both spiral horned antelope - they are vastly different animals. Kudus are significantly larger, heavier, and have a distinct hump on their back as well as the iconic white stripes down their flank. Nyala are medium sized, with similar white stripes down their flank , however thier dark coat is contrasted by their unique orange lower legs.

Nyala are mix feeding herbivores, often adapting their diet seasonally. They tend to favour leaves and fruits, but will still sample twigs, bark, and grass.
