What are the four types of Springbuck?

There are four major springbucks colour variants that form part of the 'Springbuck Grand Slam'. There's the common springbuck, which refers to the typical, tan-coloured variant, there's the black springbuck, which is actually a mutation, but refers to the chocolate brown springbuck with white faces, there's the white springbuck which is predominantly white with faint stripes, and finally there's the copper springbuck, which is a deep-reddish brown/copper-brown coat.


Is a Springbuck faster than a Cheetah?

No, springbucks are not faster than cheetahs, as cheetahs are the fastest living land mammal.


Are there Springbucks in Kruger?

No, springbuck do not naturally occur in the Krugar National Park, as these conditions are too wet. Instead, springbuck inhabit dry, open regions in the karoo.
